Adventure Antigua was started by Eli Fuller, a third generation Antiguan back in 1999. He used a tiny open traditional powerboat to take people out on what was the island’s first Eco Tour. This is a photo of the original boat now retired from “work” and just used for fun.
As you will notice, the Eco Tour’s boat has changed quite a bit to what is being used today seen here. This boat is a 52 foot power catamaran and the tour is probably the most popular tour on the island:
Anyway, to find out how Adventure Antigua ventured off into doing sailing tours and charters and to learn why we think you should consider coming out with us please have a read of one of Eli’s blog posts from back in Feb of 2008. Click here.
We have five boats that we use in our operation with the sailing side of things growing faster than the power boat side. Visit our main Adventure Antigua site by clicking here to learn more about our other tours. The photos below shows some of the crew enjoying a day out on our first yacht. We are dedicated to giving you an authentic sailing experience on sailing vessels that are sustainably built here in the Caribbean by Caribbean people. This eco friendly operation’s main goal though is to make sure that your day with us is the best day you will have spent in the Caribbean and hope that you will come back again to sail with your new Antiguan family!
