Singapore Yacht Show set to be a great spectacle

In the Whitsundays, a unique marina at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef would this year come to the Singapore Yacht Show, along with a heightened raft of adroitnesses to present to boats. While the babe of the world heritage-listed natural wonder has not altered, and large yachts now have access to the facility of the marina.

Abell Point Marina at Airlie Beach is looking ahead to offering the superyacht cruising ground – with their broadened services for huge yachts – to the international marketplace during the show in April. This move is a great one for the marina that has gone through a dredging program under the direction of Paul Darrouzet, who took the ownership of the facility recently. The increased depth to 5 meter at LAT means Abell Point is able to fit large yachts, and is part of a push to enhance the facilities uncommitted to yachts within the region.

Abell Point Marina team, to that end, has worked very closely with local legislators to increase the access of superyacht to the Great Barrier Reef region that means it is excited to offer a new cruising experience to charter as well as private superyachts.

S/Y Hemisphere’s Captain Gavin Blade told that Abell Point is a huge facility for yachts to get set for trips out into the Whitsundays, or take a little downtime for the crew. The facilities of the marina have undergone a huge revamp since their humble startings and now tick all the boxes a superyacht looks for when deciding where to berth.
